Built for students who don't have — or can't use — their own email.

The initial version of Vidukate.ai required every user to have an email address as their account name, and to log in at least once to replace a temporary password. That makes sense for most solutions, but Vidukate.ai students may not have their own email addresses, or their needs may not allow for reading their own emails.

What's Changing For You

So we created a new type of student account: one that doesn't require an email at all. "Managed Account" needs to be enabled when creating an account for a user without an email.

Enable the “Managed Account” toggle when adding a new student user.

Once created, these users carry a clear "MANAGED ACCOUNT" label in the user list, so it's always obvious how the account works.

Managed accounts are clearly labeled in the Users list.

A few things worth knowing:

  • No email address required to create a student's account.
  • Teachers and parents simply choose the student to record or watch a session for.
  • No login screens, alerts, or notifications going to an account no one checks.

This also lays the groundwork for something bigger: it's what makes Kiosk Mode possible, letting a student use their own device without logging in at all.
